I love the part where Charlie Brown says to the audience, "Isn't there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?"
And Linus saves the day by reciting the passage in the Bible. I love that part.
Even though I am now 30 years old, that doesn't stop me from watching my favorite Christmas cartoons. And why should it?
I love the self discovery Charlie goes through. Why is Christmas so commercial? What is wrong with everyone? Sometimes I feel like that.
Of course, there is nothing wrong with decorating, or giving and receiving gifts. But if it is done at the expense of understanding that Christmas is about Christ's birth, then something is wrong.
Do you miss the televised special? Well, you can easily rent it from your local store, or buy it.
